Gavin Burns qualified as a solicitor in 2003 in England and Wales. He initially qualified in a law firm in the city of London and remained there for 7 years. He then worked on a large public inquiry in Northern Ireland for 2 years.

In 2009 he joined a busy private practice in Belfast with an emphasis of working on Personal Injury cases and Road Traffic Accidents. In 2014 he started up Burns and Co Solicitors.

Gavin has experience in a broad range of legal services but has a specialism in Personal Injury cases and Road Traffic Accidents and since 2014 alone has successfully settled in over 1000 cases.

Paula has specialised in personal injury litigation for over 20 years to include road traffic accidents, tripping and slipping, asbestosis, industrial deafness, accidents at work and occupiers liability as well as medical negligence cases.

She can assist clients through the legal process to simplify matters and help them gain the compensation they deserve.

Gerard joined the firm in September 2020. He has returned to working in West Belfast having honed his skills in two City Centre firms over the past number of years. Gerard has a wealth of experience in all types of personal injury matters to include road traffic accidents, public and employer’s liability and clinical negligence matters.

Client care is extremely important to Gerard and achieving the best possible result for his client is key. He has taken on a varied caseload in Burns & Co. which consists of road traffic accidents with a credit hire element as well as a wide variety of personal injury cases. He is well known to all insurance companies and Defendant solicitors alike and has a reputation as a formidable negotiator on behalf of his clients.

Outside of work Gerard maintains a keen interest in GAA and is known in many circles across the city.

Mark is a commercially astute Solicitor Advocate with a broad range of core legal competencies gained in over twenty years of working in general practice with extensive experience at all levels. 

Now specialising almost exclusively in Private Client Law matters to include residential and commercial conveyancing, Liquor Licensing applications and Elderly Client Law matters to include Wills, Probate, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Controllership Applications. 

Sarah Clarke has had over 25 years of experience assisting solicitors in all areas of law, to include conveyancing, probate and personal injury claims in relation to RTAs, falling accidents, accidents and work, medical negligence and criminal injury claims.
